Things You Can Do When You’re Old
As we get older, life happens. We have more responsibilities to tend to than we did when we were younger and our physical bodies change in ways that make staying fit difficult. At some point or another, most of us will find ourselves asking “I’m getting old: what can I do to stay fit?” Luckily, there are plenty of things that you can do! -Exercise more. For some of us, this is a no-brainer! But for others who have been inactive their entire lives, it might be difficult to start because they are so out of shape. Here’s the thing: there really isn’t any such thing as “too old” to start exercising or doing anything else that will keep you healthy and fit when you’re older. There are many people in their 80s who take up running and other forms of exercise with amazing results! And even if you don’t want to go to the gym every day like your younger counterparts do, incorporating at least one or two days per week into your routine can make all the difference between being active vs. sedentary during retirement years.

-Don’t snack too much or late at night.
-Watch what you drink! Some drinks are packed with sugar and other things that not only don’t taste good but will make weight loss, diabetes, and a host of other issues more likely in the future.
